Not RequiredBlue Montessori is a Montessori micro-school in historic Anacostia, with a focus on strong connections to nature and community. The Montessori Primary curriculum for children ages three to six years old gives children the opportunity to build their self-confidence, focus, and self-identity through practical life, academic work, and social and emotional learning. It is led by it's co-founders, long-time area residents. Blue Montessori is part of DC Wildflower PCS, a growing network of micro-schools committed to creating public, intentionally small, teacher-led Montessori schools that model the world free from oppression.
