2024-25 Mid-year Application

The My School DC mid-year application is the application for students in PK3 – Grade 12 who move into the District midyear or who want to apply to a new public school during the current school year. The application is used to apply to all participating schools, and students are added to schools' waitlists when they apply. Offers from waitlists are never guaranteed and are infrequent after October 6. Note: No application is needed to enroll at a DCPS in-boundary school for students in grades K-12. You can locate your DCPS in-boundary school by entering your address into the School Finder.

 

For the 2024-25 school year, the mid-year application period extends from October 7, 2024 through March 14, 2025.  

 

Important: A mid-year application can only be submitted by calling the My School DC Hotline at (202) 888-6336 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The mid-year application is ONLY for the 2024-25 school year already underway; not for the upcoming school year. Families seeking to apply for school year 2025-26 can do so beginning December 16, 2024.
