Garfield ES is an exciting community where we strive to meet the needs of all scholars and focus on the whole child to produce an inclusive, warm, and rigorous learning environment. We deliver a blended learning and inquiry-based program that includes and values all students in order to meet their unique learning needs while developing their understanding and respect of differences. Our educators and partners work together to ensure we provide a welcoming, safe and equitable school community that is affirming and inclusive of all stakeholders. • Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic learning community that is filled with high expectations and rigorous instruction. At Garfield, we prioritize the academic, social, and emotional development of scholars.
• In SY24-25 we will be returning to our traditional school side. Garfield will be home to a newly modernized school building! We are thrilled for our entire community as we are moving into a state-of-the-art facility.
• Garfield is truly a community school. We value the input of all stakeholders and have active partnerships with our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), our law-firm partner Paul Hastings, Turning the Page, and other organizations within our community.
