• Garfield is home to a newly modernized school site. The $60.5 million revitalization transformed the interior of the historic building while preserving its distinctive character and external features.
• Garfield's upgraded facility, focused on sustainability, includes Ward 8's first DCPS "teaching kitchen" and scholars engage in monthly lessons in conjunction with Fresh Farm's FoodPrints program.
• Garfield has seen massive increases in our OSSE DC School Report Card score as well as performance on DC CAPE. We are dedicated to ensuring strong growth and performance for our school as well as each individual scholar.
