LAMB's mission is to create a self-directed learning environment in which children build a foundation of knowledge essential for a lifetime of learning, with the goal of biliteracy in English and Spanish. We accomplish our mission by using the Montessori method which, through highly individualized instruction, fosters independence and the love of learning. Implementing a dual language immersion model in English and Spanish. The school serves students from PreK 3 through 5th grade. LAMB's families come from all eight wards across the District of Columbia.
