KIPP DC Quest Academy, located at our Smilow Campus, educates children in grades 1 through 4. Our elementary schools prepare students with the foundational academic skills and mindsets that are necessary for success in rigorous and joyful middle schools. At KIPP DC, we commit to providing students with academic excellence, joy and sense of belonging, highly effective teachers and leaders, safe and nurturing learning environments, and a commitment to college readiness. Upon completion of 4th grade, Quest students move onto KIPP DC Valor Academy on the same campus.

• Our students receive a well-rounded education that helps them develop the literacy, math and life skills needed to succeed in middle school and beyond.
• We use Toolbox Tools, a research-based, community-tested SEL program for Kindergarten through 6th grade that helps students develop resilience, self-mastery, and empathy through its curriculum, methods, and strategies.
• We believe families are partners in education and commit to supporting your student from preschool through high school and beyond. We offer enriching experiences, regular communication, and opportunities to elevate student and family voices.
