RequiredAmidon-Bowen is located near the Southwest Waterfront and best described as a safe and nurturing community that focuses on providing a well-rounded education to each student. We offer art, music, physical education, Spanish, a 2,000 volume library, and a number of athletic and extracurricular activities that rival those offered at any of DC's most desirable public schools. Our school was recognized for outstanding results in math growth for all students by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
• Amidon-Bowen has a large facility which includes an outdoor turf soccer field, cafetorium, gymnasium, music room, and art room
